Hang-Hole Bag Suspension and Access at the Parts Rack
Choose a hang-hole bag when the complete filled pack needs a hanging display position. Then decide where the bag will be opened: on the display, after removal to a counter, or in a supported storage position. Hanging the pack and accessing its contents are separate handling decisions, even when one bag provides both a hang hole and a reclosable opening.
MG4015 is a 4 x 6 inch, 4 mil reclosable poly bag with a built-in white write-on block and pre-punched hang holes for retail display. It is supplied as 1,000 bags per case. These features provide three different functions: a hanging interface, repeated access and an identification surface.
Choose what leaves the display
For a retail accessory pack, the customer may remove the entire closed bag and carry it to checkout. In that arrangement, the display presents a finished unit. The purchasing question is whether the pack needs the pre-punched hanging feature as part of its retail presentation.
A parts counter can have a different requirement. Staff may need to open a bag, withdraw a component and return the remainder. Decide whether the whole bag moves to a counter for this operation or remains in a supported bin. Do not let the presence of a hang hole make that access decision by default.

Separate rack selection from bag selection
Write the intended filled contents and the chosen display fixture on the purchasing request. MG4015's description does not state a hole diameter, spacing or hanging-load rating. Its 4 mil film specification cannot supply those missing fixture or load requirements. Resolve the actual bag-and-fixture arrangement with the responsible display owner before standardizing it.
If hanging serves no step in the job, a supported arrangement may remove the need for a hang-hole format. If presentation requires hanging but opening happens at a counter, keep both locations in the work instruction. This makes the reason for buying the feature explicit without asking the display fixture to double as an access station.
Keep the three feature requirements separate
The white block can carry the chosen identification; it does not establish hanging compatibility. Reclosability supports the planned access sequence; it does not determine how the bag should be supported. Keep those fields separate when comparing a replacement bag so a substitution preserves the features the operation actually uses.
