Plan Which Tissue Color Shows After Folding

Choose the visible outside color before laying down two tissue sheets. For a simple two-sheet wrap around an item, the sheet underneath at the start becomes the outside layer around the item; the sheet nearer the item becomes the inside layer. Folding an edge back can expose that inside color as an accent.

Start with two identified sheets

T2030J is white gift-grade tissue, listed as 20 x 30 inches with 10 lb basis weight and 480 sheets per case. T2030K is cabernet tissue, also listed as 20 x 30 inches and 480 sheets per case. Keep the color names attached to the exact SKUs so the layer instruction can be repeated.

The shared dimensions make it possible to describe a common rectangular layout. They do not establish equal opacity or an identical appearance when one color lies behind the other. This guide concerns which sheet is physically outside, not a promise about how color shows through it.

Write the layer order from the bench upward

For a hypothetical wrap intended to have a cabernet exterior and white interior, place the cabernet sheet on the bench, place the white sheet above it and place the item on the white sheet. When the two sheets travel together around the item, the white remains nearer the item and the cabernet remains outside.

This example assumes the sheets begin aligned and are folded together. An offset sheet, a separate liner or a sheet placed only over the top is a different layout and should receive its own drawing.

Name the fold-back accent separately

If the white interior should appear along the closing edge, specify which edge is turned back and at what stage. A packer needs to distinguish the initial layer order from the deliberate reversal at that edge. A photograph showing only the completed exterior may conceal how that accent was made.

Record the orientation of the 20-inch and 30-inch sides relative to the item and identify which fold is made last. These references make the instruction reproducible without claiming that one fold pattern suits every product size.

Preserve both the closed and opened views

Save one view of the initial layers, one of the finished wrap and one after the first opening fold. Together they show exterior color, accent and interior reveal. Count consumption from that chosen arrangement, keeping the two colors on separate material lines so a shortage of one does not silently change the appearance.

Confirm contact and appearance for the actual contents separately. Layer order alone does not establish colorfastness, opacity or shipping protection.
