Low-density foam is soft and pliable, ideal for wrapping delicate surfaces and providing light cushioning for fragile items. Medium-density foam offers more resistance and better vibration dampening for heavier or more robust products. High-density foam is firm enough to provide structural support inside a box, preventing a heavy product from bottoming out during drop impact.
Pre-Cut Foam vs Roll Format

Foam rolls allow you to cut exactly the length needed for each product, which minimizes waste on a packing line with variable product sizes. Pre-cut foam sheets are faster to apply when you are consistently packing the same product at high volume. Foam pouches are the fastest format of all for products that fit a standard pouch size.
