Pallet Covers and Liners
SELECTION EXPERT ADVICE
Overview
Choose a full pallet cover by the complete load, including overhang and the required opening and drop. Full gusseted covers, flat pallet top sheets and stretch film do different jobs. The examples below keep those formats separate.

Confirm how the supplier measures width, gusset and length for the exact cover. A listed 72-inch length does not establish a 72-inch usable vertical drop over a loaded pallet. Allowances depend on the opening, top shape and placement; check the assembled fit.
Mil is film thickness. It does not certify puncture resistance, outdoor life, waterproofness or corrosion protection. Record any required exposure or barrier specification and confirm it for the selected product. The same applies to a black or clear color designation.
Pallet top sheets cover the top surface rather than enclosing the full load. PC85 is a 60 × 60-inch, 1.5 mil black top-sheeting format supplied 250 sheets per case. A requirement for 600 sheets means three cases supply 750 sheets. It is not a full 60 × 60-inch cover bag.
Stretch film is a separate load-containment route. Combining it with a top sheet or cover does not by itself prove weather sealing. Retain the required wrapping and cover method for the load.
Request a quote with the measured load footprint and height, any overhang, the exact cover SKU, film requirement, covers needed, delivery ZIP and date. Confirm covers per case before rounding the order or comparing cost per cover.
Questions before ordering
Can I choose a pallet cover from pallet footprint alone?
No. Measure the complete load and confirm the cover’s opening, gusset, length and measurement convention. Overhang and placement affect fit.
Is a 60x60 top sheet a pallet cover bag?
It is a flat top-sheet format. It does not enclose the sides like a full gusseted cover.
Which mil should I buy for outdoor storage?
Thickness alone cannot answer that. Confirm the product’s exposure and protection specifications for your application.

For 150 suitable PC515 full covers, two cases supply 150 bags. For 600 suitable PC90 top sheets, two cases supply 1,000 sheets. These counts are purchasing quantities; confirm the loaded geometry, placement and protection requirements separately. PC515 is described as pre-cut and perforated. PC90’s core does not establish dispenser compatibility.
Uline pallet bags: compare cover size with fitted load
A full pallet bag has two useful measurements: the bag dimensions and the load it is intended to fit. Uline publishes these separately for S-13545. Compare them with the measured load before treating a shared nominal bag size as a replacement.

For 150 approved PC515 covers, two cases supply 150 bags. Two Uline S-13545 rolls also supply 150 bags. The purchase-unit names differ even though the physical counts match. Check how the Packrift case is packed and dispensed if a roll holder or other equipment is part of the process.
PC515 describes precut, perforated gusseted bags; that does not establish the same resin grade or usable drop as Uline. Uline identifies LLDPE, while Packrift lists polyethylene. Confirm the opening, load height, overhang and needed exposure protection for the selected model. For a 48 × 46 × 72-inch comparison, PC604 is listed at 1.5 mil; Uline S-6700 is 2 mil and S-12481 is 1 mil. Keep those thickness differences in the order.
