Common questions
What is the ECT rating, and how does ECT-32-B perform in stacking scenarios?
ECT-32-B (Edge Crush Test 32) provides robust crush resistance for single and double-stacked pallets up to 40" height. This rating supports 4-5 tier stacking in standard warehouse environments, ideal for regional distribution and cross-dock operations handling moderate-weight shipments.
How much warehouse space and freight cost do these mailers save compared to rigid boxes?
Flat-ship corrugated mailers reduce storage footprint by 85% and lower inbound freight costs by 35-40% versus pre-assembled rigid alternatives. A single pallet holds 2,400 units flat versus 400-600 assembled boxes, dramatically improving inventory turns and logistics efficiency.
Can these mailers be assembled without equipment or additional materials?
Yes. The one-piece fold-and-tuck design requires zero assembly time, no tape, staples, glue, or machinery needed. Operators achieve full closure in 2-3 seconds per unit, eliminating bottlenecks in high-volume fulfillment operations.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items, and do they meet carrier dimensional weight standards?
Double-wall kraft construction provides excellent fragile-item protection for glassware, tools, and delicate products. At 8x5x4", this mailer offers optimal dimensional weight efficiency for USPS, UPS, and FedEx zone-based pricing, maximizing postage savings on small shipments.
