Common questions
What is ECT-32-B and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates this corrugated material resists 32 pounds per linear inch of edge pressure. This rating balances durability with cost-efficiency, making it ideal for lightweight-to-medium items. It ensures boxes maintain integrity through handling, storage, and stacking without over-specification.
Do these mailers require assembly time or equipment?
No. These one-piece mailers fold and tuck in seconds without tape, glue, staples, or machinery. Workers simply fold and insert the product, reducing labor costs and accelerating order fulfillment cycles significantly compared to traditional two-piece boxes.
How much space do these save compared to pre-assembled mailers?
Flat-shipped mailers compress to roughly 10-15% of their assembled volume, dramatically reducing warehouse shelving needs and freight charges. A pallet holds 5,000+ flat mailers versus 1,000-1,500 pre-assembled boxes, translating to direct cost savings per unit.
Are kraft corrugated mailers suitable for high-stacking environments?
Yes. ECT-32-B corrugated provides reliable stacking performance for 4-6 boxes high under normal warehouse conditions. This rating supports typical parcel and fulfillment workflows. For heavier or higher-stack requirements, consult our ECT-40 or ECT-48 product lines.
