Common questions
How long do Ice-Brix® Cold Packs stay cold?
Ice-Brix® gel packs maintain consistent temperatures for days depending on ambient conditions and insulation quality. They outperform traditional ice by staying colder longer and melting more slowly, reducing product exposure to temperature fluctuations.
Are these packs food safe and shipping compliant?
Yes. Formulated with non-toxic, food-safe gel refrigerant, they meet FDA and USDA requirements for perishable shipments. They're compliant with all major carrier cold-chain regulations including IATA for pharmaceutical transport.
Can I reuse these cold packs?
Absolutely. These are fully reusable, simply freeze between shipments. Reusability significantly reduces per-shipment cooling costs compared to single-use ice or gel packs, making them ideal for high-volume operations.
What makes these better than traditional ice?
Ice-Brix® packs stay colder than ice (colder reusable alternative), won't leak or dilute products, require no water cleanup, and provide more consistent temperature maintenance throughout multi-day shipments without product contamination risk.
