Common questions
Is the EZ4® Cutter suitable for left-handed users?
Yes, the EZ4® features an ambidextrous design, making it equally comfortable and effective for both right-handed and left-handed workers. This reduces the need for separate inventory and improves team flexibility.
How does the spring-back safety mechanism work?
The guarded spring-back slider automatically retracts the blade after each cut, preventing accidental exposure and reducing cut-related injuries. This feature is especially valuable in high-speed shipping environments where worker focus may be divided.
Can I change blades without additional tools?
Yes, the EZ4® requires no tools for blade changes, eliminating downtime and reducing training requirements. Simply load a new blade and you're ready to continue cutting, critical for maintaining productivity in busy shipping rooms.
What blade capacity does this cutter have?
The EZ4® stores up to 5 replacement blades internally, reducing the need for external blade storage and keeping extra blades organized and immediately accessible. Each cutter comes with 1 SP-017 Single-Notch Safety Blade installed.
