Common questions
How does the self-retracting blade mechanism improve workplace safety?
The self-retracting blade automatically conceals the cutting edge when you release pressure or stop using the cutter, eliminating the risk of accidental cuts and punctures during storage, transition between tasks, or when the tool is set down. This passive safety feature exceeds OSHA guidelines and reduces worker compensation claims.
Can left-handed employees use this cutter effectively?
Yes. The PSC-2™ is specifically designed for ambidextrous use, making it equally comfortable and safe for both right-handed and left-handed workers. This eliminates the need to purchase separate tools and ensures consistent safety across your entire team.
Will this cutter damage my products during box opening?
No. The blunted safety tip blade is engineered to cut through cardboard and tape without puncturing or scratching delicate products inside. The folding design and tape-splitting feature also provide precise control over cut depth and direction.
What makes the PSC-2™ more cost-effective than standard utility knives?
The self-retracting mechanism reduces blade replacement frequency by preventing accidental damage, the durable metal and plastic construction withstands repeated daily use, and the ambidextrous design eliminates the need for multiple SKUs. Purchasing one case of 12 covers a typical small-to-medium shipping team at lower per-unit cost than individual tools.
