Common questions
How does the safety blade prevent workplace injuries?
The blunt safety-tip blade is specifically engineered to cut through box tape and cardboard without piercing through to the contents or the operator's hands, reducing puncture wounds and merchandise damage claims.
Can the QBD-379 be permanently mounted?
Yes. The key-lock mounting holes allow secure installation on walls or pegboards, keeping the dispenser accessible to multiple team members while preventing theft or unauthorized blade removal.
How often do blades need to be replaced?
Each dispenser holds 75 blades. Replacement frequency depends on cutting volume, but the.025 thickness blades are designed for extended use before dulling, reducing replacement costs in typical shipping room environments.
Is the disposal chamber compliant with workplace safety regulations?
Yes. The integrated top chamber safely contains and disposes of used blades, meeting OSHA and workplace safety standards while preventing loose blade hazards in break rooms or trash areas.
