Common questions
Are these shelves compatible with existing wire shelving units?
Yes, these shelves are designed as expansion units for adjustable open wire shelving systems. The included snap-on post sleeves ensure compatibility with standard wire shelving posts.
What is the weight capacity, and can I stack items?
Each shelf supports 800 lbs evenly distributed across the 36 x 24" surface. Do not exceed this capacity, and avoid concentrated loads on small areas to maintain structural integrity.
How do I prevent rust and corrosion?
These shelves are chrome-plated for rust and corrosion resistance. For optimal longevity in wet or chemical environments, periodically wipe with a dry cloth and inspect for damage.
How many shelves come in each order?
Each case includes 4 wire shelves (36" x 24" each), allowing you to build or expand your shelving unit with a single purchase and minimize reorder costs.
