Overview

Stretch wrap is the film that holds a pallet load together in transit, and this collection carries it in hand and machine grades, cast and blown film, plus shrink film, vented pallet wrap, and the specialty films a warehouse actually ends up needing. Rolls and cases are sized for load stabilization work, not craft-store quantities. If the load also needs a top sheet or full cover under the film, size it with the pallet covers size guide.

Match the film to the load

Film Use it when Example
Hand stretch film Lower pallet volume or mixed loads wrapped at floor level. Gauge is the thickness lever; heavier and sharper-edged loads justify heavier gauge. 18 in x 100 gauge x 1500 ft hand film, case of 4

Cast versus blown is a running-condition choice: cast film is clear, quiet off the roll, and consistent for everyday loads; blown film is tougher and clingier for sharp-edged or unstable loads. If you are not sure, start with cast and escalate only if loads arrive loose.

Dispensers and wrap accessories

Hand wrapping without a dispenser wastes film and wrists. A tension-controlled unit like the ball-bearing hand stretch film dispenser keeps stretch consistent between operators. The collection also carries printed Do Not Break stretch wrap tape for flagging loads that must not be split in transit.

Freight is part of the price

Stretch film is heavy for its box size, which makes it one of the categories where freight on a one-roll order looks absurd next to the roll itself. That is not a Packrift quirk, it is physics that most suppliers decline to mention. Order by the case, put film on the same order as your other pallet supplies, and size the order using how much stretch film per pallet.
