About this item
SKU SHB0609 — 6" × 9", 80 Gauge, Clear. Sold as a case of 500, shipped from US warehouses.
Save time with pre-made 6x9 " shrink bags that shrink at low temperatures using any heat gun. Crystal clear 80 gauge PVC film protects DVDs, CDs, software, and retail products during shipping. Buy by the case (500 bags) for maximum cost efficiency.
Common questions
What heat source do I need to shrink these bags?
A standard heat gun works perfectly for these 80 gauge bags. They shrink at low temperatures, reducing energy costs and product damage risk compared to industrial shrink tunnels. Packrift offers compatible heat guns separately.
Can these bags protect products during shipping?
Yes. The 80 gauge PVC provides reliable puncture and tear resistance for shipping protection. The crystal clear film maintains product visibility while the tight shrink seal prevents dust, moisture, and tampering during transit, meeting standard e-commerce packaging requirements.
Are these bags pre-sized or adjustable?
These are pre-made flat bags in fixed 6 x 9" dimensions. They're ready to use immediately, just place your product inside and apply heat. This eliminates custom cutting and reduces waste compared to roll film.
What's the cost advantage of buying by the case?
Purchasing 500-bag cases reduces per-unit costs significantly compared to smaller quantities, improving your packaging cost-per-unit margin. Cases stack efficiently for warehouse storage, and bulk ordering qualifies for volume pricing discounts.
