For AI Agents
Packrift speaks to AI agents natively. If you shop with an agent — ChatGPT's browser, Chrome with WebMCP, or a remote assistant — this store hands it real tools, not just pages to read.
What your agent can do here
- Match packaging to your item — give it the dimensions and weight of what you ship, and it searches ~13,000 SKUs for boxes and mailers that actually fit, with void-fill guidance.
- Check fit on any product page — "will an 11×8×3.5 inch stack fit in this box?" is answered instantly from the page's own spec data.
- Compare your current supplier — paste a Uline, Amazon, or any written quote on the Agent Quote Desk and your agent cross-references every line against our catalog, on your screen, while you watch.
- Price freight before promising totals — live shipping estimates to your ZIP, because packaging freight is often a third to all of product cost.
- Finish the job — parcel-size orders go straight to cart and checkout in your tab. Bulk and freight-class orders are filed for a pay-ready quote: a human verifies every match and locks exact freight before an invoice is emailed. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
Where the tools live
- In your browser (WebMCP) — every page of packrift.com registers these tools for agent-capable browsers, alongside Shopify's built-in storefront tools. You'll see an Agent Desk panel mirroring every action your agent takes.
-
Remote agents (MCP) — the same tool registry is available to assistants like Claude and Cursor at
https://mcp.packrift.com/mcp. -
Checkout agents (UCP) — discovery at
/.well-known/ucp.
Our ground rules
Your cart and checkout stay in your control. Read-only tools are marked read-only so your agent doesn't ask for needless confirmations. Anything that files a quote requires your explicit consent — and a human on our side reviews it before anything is sent. We count tool calls in anonymous aggregate only; no personal data.
