Common questions
What is the ECT-32 rating and how does it impact stacking performance?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the box withstands 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This standard-strength rating supports typical 4-5 box stacking heights in warehouse environments, making it cost-effective for most fulfillment operations while maintaining load integrity during transit and storage.
Is this box suitable for heavier products or hazardous materials?
ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is optimized for lightweight to medium-weight items (typically under 25 lbs total box weight). For fragile, hazardous, or heavier shipments exceeding 30 lbs, we recommend upgrading to ECT-40 or double-wall alternatives for enhanced protection and compliance.
How many boxes fit on a standard pallet, and what freight savings can I expect?
A standard bundle of 25 boxes (flat-folded) occupies minimal cubic footage. Typical pallet loads accommodate 40-50 bundles, consolidating 1,000-1,250 boxes per pallet. Flat-folded shipping reduces dimensional weight charges by 60-70% compared to assembled boxes, directly lowering freight costs for high-volume buyers.
Can I print custom branding or compliance labels on these kraft boxes?
Yes. Kraft corrugated surface accepts flexographic, digital, and offset printing for logos, QR codes, shipping labels, and regulatory compliance markings. Packrift offers printing services, contact our team for volume pricing and design file specifications.
