Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter?
ECT stands for Edge Crush Test, measured in pounds per inch of width. ECT-32 means this box can withstand 32 lbs of crushing force per inch of edge, ideal for single-wall applications supporting 3-5 lb products or lighter stacks. It's the industry standard for mid-weight shipping and storage.
Can these boxes be stacked safely in a warehouse?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated supports safe stacking of similar boxes up to 5-6 boxes high under typical warehouse conditions. For heavier or taller stacks, consider double-wall alternatives. Always test your specific load before full deployment.
Are these boxes suitable for fragile items?
ECT-32 single-wall provides good cushioning for non-fragile and lightly padded goods. For fragile electronics, glassware, or high-value items, we recommend adding interior void-fill or upgrading to double-wall ECT-44 corrugated for enhanced protection.
What's the environmental benefit of choosing these boxes?
These kraft corrugated boxes are 100% recyclable and made from renewable resources. Using them reduces landfill waste, supports circular economy initiatives, and often qualifies your shipments for eco-friendly certifications that appeal to modern B2B and B2C customers.
