Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 pounds per inch indicates the corrugated material's vertical strength when compressed. ECT-32 is standard-duty rated, suitable for single-wall applications with typical stacking heights and handling in distribution environments. It's the right choice for general merchandise that doesn't require heavy-duty protection.
How many boxes fit on a standard pallet?
Flat-packed bundles of 25 are highly space-efficient for storage and inbound logistics. Once assembled, the 181/2 x 121/2 x 8" dimension typically allows 40-50 boxes per pallet depending on your stacking configuration, optimizing freight efficiency and warehouse capacity.
Can I order these boxes in bulk for volume pricing?
Yes. Packrift specializes in volume industrial packaging for warehouse and fulfillment operations. Contact our B2B sales team for quotes on pallets or truckload quantities to maximize your cost savings and lock in pricing for recurring orders.
Are these boxes suitable for hazardous materials or fragile items?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes are designed for standard general merchandise. For fragile items, heavy products, or hazardous materials, consider our double-wall (ECT-44+) or premium corrugated options. Consult with our specialists to match the right box strength to your specific product requirements and liability needs.
