Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and how does it impact my shipping operations?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) measures the box's resistance to crushing, 32 lbs per linear inch. This standard-strength rating is ideal for single-wall applications supporting mid-weight products and moderate stacking heights, balancing protection with cost efficiency for high-volume fulfillment environments.
How many boxes can I stack safely, and what's the maximum weight per box?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes typically support 3-5 layers of stacking depending on product weight and warehouse conditions. For precise stacking calculations, factor in actual product density and pallet load requirements, contact our packaging specialists for customized stack load recommendations.
Are these boxes compatible with standard pallet dimensions for freight optimization?
Yes. The 18 x 16 x 16" footprint fits efficiently on standard 40" x 48" pallets, allowing configurations that maximize cube utilization and reduce dimensional weight surcharges. Test configurations with your freight partner to optimize your specific shipping routes.
Can I order in bulk quantities beyond 20-box bundles, and do you offer volume discounts?
Absolutely. Packrift supports large-scale purchasing for enterprise fulfillment operations. Contact our B2B sales team with your monthly volume requirements for custom pricing, dedicated account support, and logistics partnerships tailored to your warehouse needs.
