Common questions
Can this insulated kit be reused?
Yes. The lightweight EPS foam and durable 200# corrugated construction are built for multiple uses, reducing per-shipment costs and supporting sustainable logistics operations when proper storage conditions are maintained.
Does this kit meet FDA and shipping compliance standards?
Yes. The pre-printed carton includes required Rush, Perishable, and This Side Up markings for regulatory compliance. The molded foam insert provides secure product positioning that meets DOT and IATA packaging standards for hazardous and temperature-sensitive materials.
How long does the foam insulation maintain temperature control?
EPS foam insulation provides 24-48 hours of thermal protection depending on ambient temperature, product type, and ice pack usage. We recommend using phase change materials or gel packs for extended shipments or extreme temperature conditions.
What products are suitable for this 12x10x9" kit?
Ideal for pharmaceuticals, biologics, vaccines, perishable foods, laboratory samples, and medical devices. The internal dimensions accommodate products up to approximately 10" x 8" x 7", allowing 1-1.5" of foam cushioning on all sides for maximum protection and temperature stability.
