Common questions
What does ECT-32 rating mean for my shipping operation?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) means each linear inch of the box edge can support 32 pounds of pressure. This rating supports safe stacking of 3-5 boxes high depending on product weight, reducing storage footprint while protecting contents during handling and transit.
How does the 22x20x14 dimension optimize freight costs?
This size fits efficiently on standard 40x48" pallets, reducing wasted space and dimensional weight charges. The proportions maximize cube utilization while staying within common carrier dimensional limits, lowering per-unit shipping expense across volume orders.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy items?
ECT-32 corrugated is rated for standard industrial products (typically under 30 lbs per box). For heavier items, consider ECT-44 or ECT-48 alternatives. Contact our team to verify suitability for your specific product weight and stacking requirements.
Can I get custom branding or printing on these boxes?
Yes, Packrift offers custom flexographic printing, tape options, and specialized coatings. Bulk volume orders (2,000+ boxes) typically qualify for custom printing at competitive rates. Request a quote through our custom packaging team.
