Common questions
What makes ECT-32 rating different from standard kraft boxes?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test 32 lb/in) indicates the same compression strength as standard kraft single-wall corrugated. The white exterior is the primary differentiator, it provides label visibility and professional appearance while maintaining identical structural performance for stacking and freight protection.
Can I use white paper tape or clear tape with these boxes?
Yes. Both clear carton sealing tape and white paper tape work effectively on these white corrugated boxes. White tape provides straightforward appearance, while clear tape offers maximum visibility for inspection and label protection during transit.
How many of these boxes fit on a standard pallet?
A single bundle of 25 flat boxes occupies minimal space. Typically 40-50 bundles fit per standard 48 x 40" pallet, resulting in 1,000-1,250 assembled boxes per pallet, optimizing freight efficiency and reducing per-unit shipping costs.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy products?
ECT-32 single-wall construction safely handles products up to approximately 65 lbs per box when properly sealed and stacked in controlled environments. For heavier items or multiple-tier stacking, consult our load rating calculator or upgrade to double-wall (ECT-48) corrugated.
