Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated board strength; ECT-32 indicates 32 pounds per lineal inch of crush resistance. For standard warehouse conditions with typical stacking heights, ECT-32 delivers proven performance without oversized materials, optimizing your cost-per-unit for high-volume shipping.
How many items can I stack with this box size, and what's the weight limit?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes typically support 4 - 6 boxes stacked under normal warehouse conditions (depending on contents weight). Maximum recommended gross weight per box is 65 lbs; verify your product weight for specific stacking configurations to ensure load stability.
Is this box suitable for heavier products or should I consider ECT-40?
ECT-32 works well for general merchandise up to 65 lbs per box. For denser or heavier items (machinery parts, dense electronics, dense household goods), ECT-40 single-wall or double-wall options provide additional crush strength and better stacking performance in high-density operations.
Can I order in larger quantities, and what volume discounts apply?
Packrift supports high-volume orders; bundles of 10 scale efficiently for warehouse operations. Contact sales for bulk pricing on pallet quantities (500+ boxes) to lock in competitive per-unit rates and optimize freight consolidation.
