Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) -32 indicates the box can resist 32 pounds of force per linear inch before failing. For side-loading boxes, this rating ensures reliable stacking performance in 3-4 tier warehouse configurations and protects goods during transit without over-engineering material costs.
How much warehouse space do flat-packed boxes save?
Flat-packed corrugated boxes reduce storage footprint by approximately 70% compared to assembled inventory. A pallet of 500 flat boxes occupies roughly 4 linear feet versus 25+ feet for pre-assembled stock, freeing up high-value warehouse real estate.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy products?
ECT-32 single-wall is rated for products up to 25-30 lbs per box depending on stacking height and warehouse conditions. For heavier items exceeding this range, upgrade to ECT-44 double-wall construction for enhanced protection and load-bearing capacity.
Can I print our logo on these boxes?
Yes. Kraft corrugated accepts flexographic and digital printing for branding. Minimum order quantities vary by print method, contact our sales team for custom quote on 26x6x20 branded boxes starting at 5,000+ units.
