Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 means each linear inch of the box's flute withstands 32 pounds of pressure. This rating ensures reliable stacking performance, reduces damage claims, and supports efficient warehouse operations where boxes may be stacked 4-6 units high.
How many boxes fit on a standard pallet?
When flat-shipped, approximately 90-100 bundles (2,250-2,500 individual boxes) fit on a 48x40" pallet, significantly reducing freight costs per unit compared to pre-assembled alternatives.
Can these boxes handle heavy items?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated typically supports 25-35 lbs per box depending on contents weight distribution. For heavier items exceeding 40 lbs, consider ECT-44 double-wall alternatives for optimal protection.
Are these boxes eco-friendly?
Yes. Kraft corrugated is 100% recyclable and made from sustainable wood fiber. Most curbside programs accept these boxes, supporting your sustainability goals and customer expectations.
