Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) indicates the box can withstand a minimum of 32 pounds of force per linear inch when stacked. This standard-strength rating is ideal for typical warehouse stacking heights and palletized shipments, balancing durability with cost efficiency for high-volume operations.
How many boxes fit per pallet and what's the weight impact on freight costs?
The 28 x 20 x 12" dimension provides excellent pallet utilization and freight efficiency. Flat-shipped bundles of 15 occupy minimal dimensional weight, reducing your per-box shipping cost compared to pre-assembled boxes and allowing you to consolidate orders effectively.
Are these boxes suitable for heavy products?
ECT-32 single-wall boxes work best for standard to moderately weighted items (typically up to 35-40 lbs depending on density and stacking height). For heavier products or multi-layer stacking beyond 5 tiers, consider our ECT-44 double-wall options for increased load capacity.
What makes kraft corrugated boxes more sustainable than alternatives?
Kraft corrugated is 100% recyclable and made from renewable paper pulp sources. Choosing these boxes supports your sustainability goals while reducing waste, customers increasingly prefer recyclable packaging, and bulk purchasing locks in consistent, eco-friendly protection.
