Common questions
What is the ECT rating and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT-32 means Edge Crush Test of 32 pounds per inch ‚ sufficient durability for single-wall protection in standard warehouse stacking conditions (typically 4 - 5 boxes high). This rating balances cost efficiency with reliable performance for most non-hazmat, moderate-weight items. For heavier loads, consider double-wall alternatives.
How many boxes per pallet, and what's the freight advantage versus standard boxes?
The 30" length optimizes pallet configurations for long items, typically allowing 60 - 100 boxes per standard pallet depending on stacking orientation. Compared to cube-inefficient square boxes, you fit more product per shipment, reducing cost-per-unit freight and improving your logistics margin.
Can these boxes handle our wine and beverage shipments safely?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated provides adequate cushioning and stackability for wine bottles, craft beverages, and similar fragile elongated products. For maximum protection, combine with interior dividers, bubble wrap, or foam inserts appropriate to your product weight and fragility.
Are bulk discounts available for volume orders?
Packrift offers tiered pricing on corrugated boxes ‚ larger monthly commitments (500+ bundles) typically qualify for volume discounts. Contact our B2B sales team with your monthly volume forecast for a customized quote.
