Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and how does it affect my shipping performance?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) of 32 lbs/in indicates the compressive strength per linear inch of the flute edge. ECT-32 kraft corrugated provides reliable stacking capacity for 2-3 tier pallets in standard warehouse environments, balancing cost efficiency with structural integrity for mid-weight, elongated products.
Will these boxes fit standard pallet dimensions and shipping equipment?
Yes. The 32 x 10" base fits efficiently on standard 48 x 40" pallets, allowing you to stack 6 boxes per layer and maximize pallet utilization. This configuration reduces dimensional weight surcharges and optimizes freight spend on parcel and LTL carriers.
How many cartons can I expect per pallet, and what's the freight advantage?
With optimal stacking, you can load 180-240 assembled boxes per pallet, depending on carton height when nested. The narrow 10" width reduces overall pallet footprint, lowering dimensional weight charges and enabling better freight class rating on carriers like FedEx Freight and YRC.
Are these boxes eco-friendly and what certifications do they carry?
Yes, 100% recyclable kraft corrugated construction supports sustainability initiatives. These boxes are manufactured from virgin and recycled fiber and comply with industry standards for food-contact and eco-conscious fulfillment operations seeking green packaging credentials.
