Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my shipping needs?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 means each linear inch of the box edge can withstand 32 pounds of crushing force. For long boxes handling linear products, this rating ensures reliable stacking performance in warehouses and trucks, protecting contents through multi-stop distribution without crushing or collapsing.
How does the long side opening improve packing efficiency?
The 36-inch opening along the length lets pickers load long items directly without rotating or forcing products into narrow top openings. This reduces packing time per box by 30-40%, lowers labor costs, and minimizes damage from contact with box edges.
Are these boxes compatible with standard packing equipment?
Yes. The 36x10x6 format works with most tape dispensers, sealing equipment, and conveyor systems. Flat shipping means you can store higher quantities in the same footprint, and quick manual assembly makes these ideal for variable-volume fulfillment operations.
What's the freight advantage of choosing 36x10x6 long boxes?
The long, narrow profile fits efficiently on pallets without wasted air space, reducing dimensional weight charges. 25-box bundles stack compactly, allowing you to order larger quantities with lower per-unit shipping costs and maintain inventory without warehouse congestion.
