Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean and why does it matter?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 means each linear inch of box edge crushes at 32 pounds of force. ECT-32 single-wall corrugated is ideal for light-to-moderate weight items and stacking within standard warehouse environments. It balances cost efficiency with durability for tall, narrow shipments.
How many of these boxes fit on a standard pallet?
Since these ship flat in bundles of 25, you can stack approximately 40 - 50 bundles per standard 48x40" pallet, delivering 1,000 - 1,250 boxes per pallet. Exact count depends on your handling equipment and stacking height.
Can these boxes replace mailing tubes?
Yes. The 4 x 4 x 60" profile works well for items traditionally mailed in tubes, posters, blueprints, fishing rods, and rolled documents. End-loading is faster than tube closure, and the box provides better visibility and easier bar-code placement for automated sorting.
Are these boxes stackable in the warehouse before use?
When flat-packed, bundles are stackable and space-efficient. Once assembled, ECT-32 single-wall boxes support safe stacking based on weight. For full load limits and stack-height guidance, consult your product specification sheet or contact our logistics team.
