Common questions
What does ECT-32 mean, and is it strong enough for my shipments?
ECT-32 (Edge Crush Test) indicates 32 pounds per inch of edge crush strength, the industry standard for single-wall corrugated. It handles typical e-commerce items, electronics accessories, textiles, and light industrial goods. For heavier loads exceeding 15 lbs per box, consider ECT-44 or double-wall alternatives.
How many boxes fit on a pallet, and what's the stacking limit?
Approximately 45-50 bundles (1,125 - 1,250 individual boxes) fit on a standard 40x48" pallet with 5-tier stacking. ECT-32 supports safe stacking up to 6-8 boxes high when fully loaded, depending on contents weight, verify with your logistics partner for your specific load profile.
Can I customize these boxes with printing or branding?
Yes. Packrift offers volume printing for logos, product information, and compliance labeling. Minimum orders and lead times apply, contact our sales team for custom print quotes and production timelines.
Are these boxes compliant with shipping carrier requirements?
Yes. ECT-32 kraft corrugated meets USPS, UPS, and FedEx specifications for small parcel rates. Ensure dimensions and weight stay within carrier limits for your shipping tier. Check with your carrier for dimensional weight pricing applicability.
