Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my shipments?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating of 32 lb means the box material can withstand 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This is ideal for mid-weight goods and provides reliable stacking performance in warehouses, balancing protection with cost efficiency for bulk orders.
How does the 60x6x6 design save me money on freight?
The narrow 6" x 6" footprint reduces cubic dimensional weight significantly compared to square boxes for the same length. This means lower LTL and parcel shipping rates, faster pallet utilization, and less wasted warehouse space, critical for high-volume shippers managing margins tightly.
Can I stack these boxes safely during storage?
Yes. ECT-32 Kraft corrugated is rated for multi-tier stacking in standard warehouse environments. Stack height depends on product weight inside; unloaded boxes can safely stack 4 - 6 units high without deformation, maximizing vertical storage density.
What types of products fit best in a 60x6x6 box?
Ideal for poles, dowels, tubing, rolled textiles, paper rolls, metal trim, linear components, and any product 55 - 58" in length requiring minimal width. The narrow profile prevents excessive padding waste and keeps product secure with minimal filler material.
