Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) measures corrugated strength under vertical load. ECT-32 delivers 32 lbs/in of crush resistance, suitable for 2 - 3 tier palletization of medium-weight items. It balances durability with cost, making it ideal for high-volume B2B shipping where freight efficiency and stacking ROI matter most.
Can I stack these boxes multiple layers high?
Yes. ECT-32 single-wall supports 2 - 3 layer stacking depending on product weight and pallet configuration. Consult our load calculator or contact sales for engineered stack-height recommendations for your specific shipment weight.
Is this a replacement for mailing tubes?
For many applications, yes. The 8816" tall box offers better printability, easier labeling, and stacking versus tubes. It's especially effective for rigid items like rods and poles that don't require tube flexibility, plus it cuts material costs by 15 - 25%.
How many units fit on a standard 4048" pallet?
Approximately 100 flat-packed boxes per pallet (4 bundles of 25), or 40 - 50 assembled boxes depending on stack height. Exact capacity depends on your stacking pattern and weight limits. Contact Packrift logistics for your load configuration.
