Common questions
What is ECT-32 and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 measures the board's resistance to crushing along its edges, a key indicator of stacking and drop performance. ECT-32 is ideal for single-wall boxes handling lightweight to medium-weight products, offering cost efficiency without sacrificing durability in standard warehouse and shipping conditions.
How many boxes can I stack with this ECT rating?
ECT-32 corrugated typically supports 3 - 5 layers of palletized cartons (depending on product weight and environmental conditions). For exact stacking height and load limits, consult your pallet configuration and product density; Packrift can provide custom strength calculations.
Will these boxes fit standard pallet dimensions?
Yes. The 9 x 7 x 3" footprint is versatile for standard 48" x 40" pallets, allowing efficient layer configurations. Flat shipping also means more bundles per pallet, reducing per-unit freight cost.
Can I order partial bundles or larger quantities?
Standard orders are sold in bundles of 25. For high-volume needs, Packrift offers pallet-quantity pricing and custom manufacturing options. Contact our B2B sales team for volume discounts and dedicated account management.
