Common questions
What does ECT-32-B rating mean for my shipping operation?
ECT-32-B indicates 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test) kraft corrugated with B-grade fluting, delivering reliable crush resistance for small-to-medium items while maintaining cost efficiency. This rating is ideal for lightweight products under 10 lbs and protects against handling abuse in automated sorting systems.
How much warehouse space can I save using flat-ship mailers?
Flat mailers reduce storage footprint by approximately 80% compared to pre-assembled boxes. A single pallet can hold 5,000+ flat mailers versus 500-800 assembled mailers, translating to lower square-footage costs and faster order fulfillment turnaround.
Can my team assemble these mailers without tools or supplies?
Yes. These one-piece fold-and-tuck mailers require zero tape, glue, staples, or equipment, workers simply fold and tuck in seconds. This reduces assembly labor costs and eliminates supply chain dependency on adhesives or fastening materials.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items and international shipping?
Absolutely. The double-wall crush-resistant construction protects fragile goods like glassware and electronics during handling and transit. The kraft finish is internationally compliant and suitable for both domestic and cross-border shipping, with the lightweight design reducing dimensional weight charges on parcel and LTL carriers.
