Common questions
What is the actual length of these tubes versus the 48" usable measurement?
The 48" measurement refers to usable interior length for content placement. Actual tube lengths are longer to accommodate the included end caps. For exact dimensions, consult product specifications or contact our sales team.
Are these tubes suitable for shipping delicate documents and blueprints?
Yes. The 0.125" thick spiral-wound construction with 3-ply reinforcement provides crush and bend resistance. End caps seal contents completely, meeting carrier requirements for document shipments and protecting against moisture and damage.
Can I order additional end caps if needed?
Absolutely. Replacement 3" end caps are sold separately under SKU PMTCAP3-C820. This allows you to reuse tubes for multiple shipments or replace damaged caps without purchasing entire new cases.
What makes these kraft tubes more economical than alternatives?
The heavy-duty construction reduces damage rates and replacement costs. Bulk case pricing of 24 units lowers per-unit costs, and the rigid design eliminates need for secondary protective packaging in most applications, simplifying your mailroom operations.
