Common questions
How do I know if my item fits the 18x18" size?
The listed size is 18x18". Plan for contents slightly smaller than the nominal size — the usable interior runs a bit under the listed measurement once the bag takes shape around what you load into it.
Is 6 mil the right thickness for my use?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 6 mil film is 6/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter.
Is there a drop-in substitute for PB8570?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 16x18" and 20x20" (same 6 mil film), and the same 18x18" size is also stocked in 1 and 2 mil. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 6 mil thickness, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB8570.
How do I close these bags, and how do they ship?
These are open-top bags — close them with a heat sealer, bag tape, twist ties, or staples, whichever fits your workflow. This listing is sold as one case of 250 bags — roughly $0.53 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
