Common questions
What does ECT-90 mean and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) -90 indicates the sheet withstands 90 pounds of force per linear inch. This rating ensures safe stacking of heavy machinery and appliances without compression failure, reducing damage claims and enabling higher tier configurations to save warehouse space.
How many pallets can I stack using these triple wall sheets?
ECT-90 triple wall sheets support 3-4 tier stacking configurations depending on product weight and pallet stability. Consult your product weight specifications, these sheets excel with loads of 500+ lbs per pallet layer.
Are 40 x 42" sheets compatible with standard pallet sizes?
Yes. These sheets fit standard 40 x 48" and 42 x 42" pallets with minimal overhang, maximizing coverage while maintaining forklift accessibility. The slight undersize prevents binding during automated handling.
Can I use these instead of foam or plastic layer pads?
Absolutely. Triple wall corrugated sheets deliver equivalent or protection at 40-60% lower cost, plus they're 100% recyclable and reduce freight weight by 30-50% compared to foam alternatives, improving your sustainability metrics and shipping economics.
