Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #170 features a standard core compatible with most industrial tape dispensers. For optimal performance and consistent line speed, we recommend reviewing our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers collection to ensure your equipment matches the tape width and core specifications.
Why does the product data sheet specify 1.8 mil thickness?
The 1.8 mil acrylic formulation balances tensile strength, adhesive grip, and dispenser feed consistency. This thickness excels on recycled corrugated, the most common substrate in industrial packing operations, delivering reliable seals without tape jams or release issues.
How long will sealed cases remain secure in storage or transit?
Clear acrylic tape retains adhesion and clarity indefinitely when stored between 32°‚140°F. Unlike rubber-based alternatives, it resists yellowing and degradation, making it the preferred choice for long-term storage applications where case appearance and seal integrity matter.
Does this tape comply with shipping carrier requirements?
Yes. This tape meets UPS and U.S. Postal Service regulations for carton sealing. Using compliant tape reduces the risk of carrier rejection, prevents costly rework, and ensures your cases proceed through distribution networks without delay.
