Common questions
Will this tape adhere to boxes made from recycled cardboard?
Yes. Scotch® 373 is specifically formulated to adhere instantly to cartons containing high levels of recycled content, which often have challenging surface properties. The synthetic rubber adhesive ensures reliable bonding without pre-treatment.
Is this tape compatible with standard box sealing dispensers?
Yes. The 2" width and standard core design work with all major automatic and handheld tape dispensers, ensuring smooth integration into your existing packing line equipment.
How does the 2.5 mil thickness compare to thinner alternatives?
The 2.5 mil construction provides tear and split resistance, reducing tape breakage during high-speed dispensing. This translates to fewer line stoppages and lower per-seal costs for volume operations.
What environmental conditions will affect tape performance?
This tape is moisture and abrasion resistant, maintaining consistent adhesion in humid packing environments and on rough carton surfaces. Performance remains stable across standard warehouse temperatures and humidity levels.
