Common questions
Will this tape adhere properly to recycled-content cartons without surface prep?
Yes. Scotch® 373 tape is specifically formulated with synthetic rubber adhesive to bond instantly to recycled-content boxes without requiring wiping or priming, reducing line stoppages and maintaining packing velocity.
Is this tape compatible with standard box tape dispensers?
Yes. The standard 2" core is compatible with all industry-standard 2" hand-held and automated box sealing tape dispensers, ensuring use into existing packing operations.
What makes the 2.5 mil thickness suitable for high-volume packaging?
The 2.5 mil polypropylene backing provides edge tear and split resistance while maintaining flexibility for consistent dispensing across thousands of seals, reducing tape breaks and waste on repetitive production runs.
How does this tape perform in humidity or temperature-variable warehouse environments?
The moisture and abrasion-resistant construction maintains adhesive integrity and seal strength even in fluctuating warehouse conditions, ensuring cartons remain sealed during storage and transit.
