Common questions
Will this tape work with standard tape dispensers on my packing line?
Yes. The 2" width and standard core compatibility make this tape compatible with most handheld and automatic carton sealing dispensers. The conformable 3.1 mil backing feeds smoothly through high-speed applicators without jamming or adhesive buildup.
How does the adhesive perform on damaged or textured corrugated boxes?
The synthetic rubber adhesive system conforms to irregular surfaces and minor corrugation imperfections, maintaining secure contact even on worn or moisture-exposed cardboard. This makes it ideal for challenging packaging conditions where standard tape may fail.
What's the shelf life, and how should I store these rolls?
Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 375 maintains optimal adhesion for up to 2 years when stored in cool, dry conditions (60-80°F, <50% humidity). Keep rolls upright on original packaging to prevent edge curling and adhesive transfer.
Is this tape water-resistant for outdoor or cold storage shipments?
Yes. The polypropylene film backing is water-resistant, protecting sealed cases during humid storage, wet environments, and temperature fluctuations. This prevents adhesive weakening and maintains seal integrity throughout the supply chain.
