Common questions
Will this tape stick to curved or uneven surfaces on my packing line equipment?
Yes. The rubber adhesive on 3M 767 tape creates contact adhesion on most surfaces, including metal, plastic, and textured finishes common on industrial equipment. For optimal adhesion on curved surfaces, apply firm, even pressure during installation.
How long does this safety stripe tape last in a warehouse environment with exposure to moisture and chemicals?
The 5.0 mil vinyl backing is specifically formulated to resist moisture, weathering, acids, and alkaline chemicals, ensuring long-term durability. Most facilities report 12+ months of reliable performance in standard warehouse conditions without fading or peeling.
Can I apply this tape during active production without shutting down my packing line?
Absolutely. The rubber adhesive sticks on contact with no dripping, drying time, or cleanup required. Most supervisors can apply full rolls in minutes, minimizing production interruption.
Will the bright red and white colors fade in areas with direct sunlight or UV exposure?
No. 3M locks the bright colors into the vinyl material itself, ensuring permanent high visibility even in outdoor or UV-exposed areas. The dye is integrated into the backing, not printed on top.
