Common questions
Will this tape leave residue on cardboard boxes or equipment?
No. Tape Logic gaffers tape is formulated with a residue-free adhesive system that releases cleanly from cardboard, painted surfaces, and equipment without leaving sticky buildup. This makes it ideal for reusable case sealing operations where boxes are returned or refurbished.
Is this tape compatible with standard automatic packing line dispensers?
Yes. The 3-inch width and standard 2-inch core diameter make this tape compatible with most commercial tape dispensers used in packing operations. Individual roll wrapping prevents adhesion issues on the dispenser head.
Can I use brown gaffers tape for outdoor case sealing?
Yes. This tape is rated for both indoor and outdoor use and maintains adhesion in humid and temperature-variable conditions typical of shipping and receiving areas. The 11 mil thickness provides durability against UV exposure and weather.
What is the shelf life and storage recommendation for unopened rolls?
Unopened rolls maintain full adhesive strength for 12 months when stored at room temperature (60-80°F) in dry conditions. Store in cool areas away from direct sunlight to prevent adhesive degradation and ensure reliable performance on your packing line.
