Polypropylene strapping handles loads up to approximately 300 lbs with good elongation to absorb shock in transit. Polyester strapping offers higher break strength and better load retention for heavier industrial shipments. Steel strapping is reserved for the heaviest loads, sharp-edged products, and applications where elongation would compromise load security.
Pre-Stretch Ratio and Film Yield

Pre-stretch ratios determine how much film you apply per pallet. A 200% pre-stretch means one inch of film stretches to three inches, reducing your film consumption per pallet significantly.
