Common questions
Are these tubes compliant with postal and carrier shipping requirements?
Yes. These heavy-duty kraft tubes meet USPS, UPS, and FedEx specifications for cylindrical mailers. The rigid 3-ply construction and protective end caps ensure contents arrive undamaged and meet all carrier handling standards.
Can I order additional end caps separately?
Absolutely. Additional 3" end caps (SKU PMTCAP3-C820) are available for purchase separately, allowing you to extend inventory or replace damaged caps without reordering full tube sets.
What is the weight capacity and crush resistance of these tubes?
The 0.125" thick 3-ply spiral wound construction provides excellent crush and bend resistance for rolled documents, blueprints, and posters up to 2-3 pounds. The rigid design maintains shape integrity even under stacking pressure during storage or transport.
How do these tubes compare to plastic mailers in terms of cost and sustainability?
Kraft tubes cost significantly less per unit than plastic alternatives while offering equal or protection. They're fully recyclable and biodegradable, reducing waste management costs and supporting corporate sustainability goals, ideal for environmentally conscious shippers.
