Common questions
How should I judge fit for the 28x24x52" size?
The listed size is 28x24x52" — the gusseted sides fold out so the bag can open to its listed depth and sit around blockier items. The catalog lists inside-usable dimensions of 28" W x 24" D x 52" H, so that measurement is what your item has to fit within.
How does 2 mil compare with lighter or heavier film?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch, so 2 mil film is 2/1000" thick — 4 mil film, for example, is twice the film thickness of 2 mil. Heavier film of the same material stands up to punctures and rough handling better; lighter film costs less per bag and packs tighter. This listing's material is specified as 2 Mil Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE).
Is there a drop-in substitute for PB1657?
Not as an exact replacement. The closest sizes in this line are 24x24x48" and 32" W x 28" D x 48" H; any size change alters the usable interior. Before switching, match the listed dimensions, 2 mil thickness, closure type, and case count — then reorder by exact SKU PB1657.
How does the closure work, and what does a full order look like?
The closure is listed as Twist Ties, Bag Tape, or Impulse Sealers, so the bag closes without separate tape or heat. This listing is sold as one case of 100 bags — roughly $1.38 per bag at the current case price (confirm the live price before ordering). Orders ship from Packrift's five US warehouse regions (Central IL, NE PA, S TX, SE GA, and W CA); delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
