Record width, length and depth after any padding. Confirm the exact usable opening and closure space; do not rely on a nominal size alone.

Questions before you order
Should I use a flat bag or a reclosable bag?
Choose based on your closure workflow. Flat open-top bags need an appropriate tie, tape or sealing process. Reclosable bags provide a zipper or slider that can be opened again. Verify the exact product format.
How do I calculate the number of cases?
Divide bags needed by bags per case and round up. For 2,500 bags at 1,000 per case, buy 3 cases for 3,000 bags. Case counts vary by SKU.
What information makes a bulk quote useful?
Send SKU or required size, bag format, mil, closure, bags or cases needed, delivery ZIP and required date. Add documentation requirements and recurring usage if relevant.
Need clear, flat poly bags for an open-top packing process? Compare exact size, 2 mil or 4 mil film and bags per case. Flat bags are a different format from the zipper and slide-seal options linked from this page.

These examples have different dimensions, so the table does not establish a 2 mil versus 4 mil performance comparison. Thickness is one specification, not a certified load or puncture rating. Measure the packed shape and confirm usable opening and closing allowance.
A bulk order for 2,500 bags of either confirmed 1,000-count format requires three cases: 3,000 bags with 500 remaining. Keep the SKU and format separate for each line on a mixed quote. If you need an expanding shape, use the gusseted-bag table; for repeated opening, use the reclosable-bag planner.

Open-top bags need a separate closure method. Press-to-close and slide-seal bags use different closures. Confirm usable opening, seal position and any writing panel before matching one bag to another.
Food-contact use depends on the exact bag material and supplier documentation. Do not assume a poly bag is suitable for food, pharmaceutical, or direct-product contact unless the SKU states that support clearly.
