Storage Bins

Plastic bins are the appropriate choice for permanent, long-term storage locations in production and warehouse environments where the bins will be used and handled repeatedly over years. Corrugated bins provide a significantly lower-cost option for temporary storage, seasonal inventory, slow-moving SKUs, and applications where the bin contents or location assignments change frequently.

Selecting bin sizes that are too large wastes floor space and allows products to shift and mix inside the bin. Bins that are too small force contents to overflow or stack outside the bin, which defeats the organizational purpose. Measure the actual dimensions of your largest item in each category and select the smallest bin that accommodates it with a small clearance margin on all sides.

Standard plastic bins can generate and hold static charges that damage electronic components stored inside. ESD-safe conductive bins are formulated from static-dissipative materials that safely ground any charge that builds up, making them appropriate for storing unpackaged circuit boards, components, and assemblies in a controlled ESD environment.
