Common questions
What does ECT-32-B corrugated mean and why does it matter?
ECT-32-B refers to Edge Crush Test rating of 32 pounds per linear inch on B-flute corrugated material. This industry standard indicates strong crush resistance suitable for stacking multiple bins and storing moderately heavy parts without deformation, a critical consideration for warehouse durability and cost-per-use.
Can these bins stack safely for vertical warehouse storage?
Yes, the ECT-32-B construction provides sufficient structural integrity for stacking multiple loaded bins vertically on shelving systems. Stack height depends on item weight and warehouse conditions, but these boxes are engineered to handle typical parts-storage loads without collapse or damage.
Are these bins compliant with shipping and logistics standards?
These corrugated bins meet standard shipping and warehouse storage guidelines for non-hazardous materials. They are not rated for parcel shipping but are ideal for in-house parts organization, shelf storage, and warehouse operations. Always verify compliance with your specific shipping or regulatory requirements.
How does the 24" depth compare to standard bins, and why buy in bundles of 20?
The 24" depth accommodates larger, bulkier parts that standard bins cannot hold, maximizing shelf space efficiency per unit. Buying bundles of 20 reduces per-unit cost, ensures consistent inventory management, and provides economies of scale for active warehousing operations requiring multiple storage solutions.
