About this item
SKU CTUV24120 — 24" × 24", 120 lb. UV Stabilized Nylon, Black. Sold as a case of 100, shipped from US warehouses.

Common questions
How long do these UV cable ties last in direct sunlight?
UV-stabilized nylon construction extends service life 3-5 years in continuous outdoor exposure compared to 6-12 months for standard nylon. Lifespan varies by geographic location, UV intensity, and ambient temperature conditions.
Are these ties suitable for salt-water or coastal environments?
Yes. While UV stabilization is the primary feature, 120 lb. nylon resists salt-spray corrosion better than metal alternatives. For maximum durability in maritime applications, inspect ties annually and replace if embrittlement appears.
What's the tensile strength and is it adequate for outdoor cable bundles?
120 lb. tensile strength securely holds cable bundles up to approximately 80-90 lbs. under normal tension. Outdoor conditions reduce effective strength over time; oversize bundles or high-wind areas may require multiple ties per bundle.
Can these ties be reused or removed once locked?
The self-locking mechanism is permanent by design. For single-use installations, ties cannot be reopened. Use scissors or a cutting tool for removal; consider tamper-evident applications in restricted-access areas.
